Shocking Statistics In Lancashire As The Police Ignore Anti-Social Behaviour And Shoplifting And Perpetrators Get Away Scot-Free!

Research from the Cooperative Group shows that, last year, Lancashire Police only attended 20% of ongoing shoplifting incidents, ignoring all the rest.

More concerning, only 2% of these led to any criminal sanction.

Organised crime groups are now starting to empty shop shelves as they know the police will not attend and no one will be convicted.

This must stop!

I will fully implement Labours proposal to abolish the Conservative Party’s £200 threshold for shoplifters before action is taken and support better protection for shop workers.

What we really need, of course, is more police back on our streets, not sat behind desks!
